WE BELIEVE IN...
Being Part of the Solution

At C4WI, we are working to help solve world problems that threaten the health and well-being of adolescent youth through evidence-based, Christ-centered, and preventative solutions.
CURRENT PRIORITY
Teen Mental Health & Well-being
On the surface, the majority of teens appear to be healthy, but deep inside many are not well. According to the Youth Risk Behavioral Survey conducted in the United States:
- 2 in 5 high school youth report feelings of persistent sadness or hopelessness
- 1 in 5 seriously consider suicide
- 1 in 10 have made a suicide attempt
Furthermore, adolescents from around the globe report:
- social isolation and loneliness
- lack of meaningful relationships
- absence of purpose or meaning
- heightened levels of stress
- poor self image
- ineffective coping skills
